City Youth Now, a program offering programs and services to youth in the foster care and juvenile justice system in San Francisco, holds an awards ceremony each year to honor volunteers, partners and scholarship recipients. The client wanted a modern, catchy digital invite, but couldn’t use photos from their programs because of their sensitive nature. Instead, I chose to focus on the venue—a gorgeous art gallery in San Francisco—to highlight their “shine a light” theme for the gala. The program used stock photos of teens to continue the look and feel with a more personal touch.
